Vintage Crystal: 1K Wine | Beer Walks – November 16 & 17, 1pm - 7pm

CRYSTAL CITY, VA —The Crystal City Business Improvement District (BID), in partnership with the Washington Wine Academy and Vornado/Charles E. Smith, is helping you stay fit this fall with an event sure to make you break out your running shoes. Mark your calendars for the Vintage Crystal: 1K Wine | Beer Walks on November 16 and 17, 2013.

By popular request, this fall’s 1K Walks will feature simultaneous races for wine and beer lovers alike. Just buy a tasting card for either wine or beer and enjoy sumptuous samples of your favorite beverage.

Vintage Crystal: 1K Wine | Beer Walks

What:

Lace up your shoes and sip your way to the finish line, but don’t expect energy drinks along the way! Walkers will sample dozens of wine or beer varieties as they make their way through a fun, indoor course at the Crystal City Shops during this one-of-a-kind event produced by the Washington Wine Academy. Sample either wine or beer along the racecourse and celebrate your personal best at the finish line party.

When:

November 16 & 17, 2013, 1p.m. – 7p.m.

Where:

The walks begin at The Landing located in the Crystal City Shops @ 1750 (1750 Crystal Drive)
Blue and Yellow METRO Lines to Crystal City Station

Admission:

Tickets are $40 (plus service charges) and include 22 different tastes and are available at WashingtonWineAcademy.org
