CRYSTAL CITY, VA — Gentlemen, start your engines! Get your vehicle tuned up and bring the family to the starting line in Crystal City for the first annual Father's Day Auto Festival. The Crystal City Business Improvement District (BID) in partnership with Vornado/Charles E. Smith, the 23rd Street Business Association, and the Washington Wine Academy, is launching Crystal Car on Father's Day, Sunday, June 16th 2013.
The festival plans to showcase a variety of automobile categories including innovative electric vehicles, area sports car auto clubs, classic muscle cars, and more. The festival will be located within the many different courtyards and surface lots of Crystal City and proximate to many great restaurants.
One of the many attractions of Crystal Car will be the electrical vehicle collection which also showcases Vornado/Charles E. Smith’s new charging stations and Vornado’s Chevrolet Volt fleet. The Washington Wine Academy will host a beer garden to further enhance the experience and celebrate Father's Day in style.
