Crystal Car - A Father's Day Auto Festival

Clean up your ride and bring the family to the starting line in Crystal City for the second annual Father's Day Auto Festival. The Crystal City Business Improvement District (BID) in partnership with Vornado/Charles E. Smith, and the Washington Wine Academy, is hosting CRYSTAL CAR on Father's Day, Sunday, June 15th, 2014.

“We kicked the tires on this event last year and were overwhelmed with the enthusiastic response,” said Angela Fox, President/CEO of the Crystal City BID. “We are all about being ACCESSIBLE here in Crystal City – whether you are flying in, hopping on a train, driving in, or riding on a bike! This event is a great way to celebrate your favorite dad while enjoying all of the amenities that make Crystal City the bright place to be.”

The festival will showcase a variety of automobile categories including innovative electric vehicles, sports cars, classic muscle cars, and more. The festival is located in the central courtyards and surface lots of Crystal City and proximate to many great restaurants. There will be activities for kids including the chance to paint their own racecar and play in a moon bounce. The Washington Wine Academy will host a beer|wine garden and live music by the Skyla Burrel Band and Moon Dog Medicine Show to further enhance the experience and celebrate Father's Day in style.

When: Sunday, June 15th 2014, 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Where: 2121 Crystal Drive & 220 20th Street South Surface Parking Lot
Admission: FREE admission for guests and vehicles. Cash Bar at Beer|Wine Garden.
