The Crystal City Business Improvement District (BID) is seeking an Officer Manager with the following primary responsibilities:

  • Manage daily BID office operations including reception service, processing mail, and maintenance of organizational files, contracts, contact database, and general office supplies
  • Manage general accounting functions including billing, payroll, generating budget reports, and account reconciliation
  • Act as scribe at Crystal City BID Board and partner meetings
  • General program and event logistics support
  • Perform website updates and draft weekly newsletters

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Position reports to the Crystal City BID Chief Operating Officer


  • At least two years of related work experience required
  • Familiarity with Arlington County and Crystal City is strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented, self-starter, and problem solver
  • Proficiency with accounting software (preferably Quickbooks) and Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required
  • Technical capability with HTML and Website Content Management Systems preferred

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Fulltime, salaried; occasional evenings, nights, and weekends to assist in supporting BID programming and events. SALARY: Commensurate with experience including a competitive benefits package
