The Crystal City Business Improvement District (BID) is seeking an Officer Manager with the following primary responsibilities: 

  • Support daily BID office operations including reception, mail, files, contracts, contacts, and office supplies;
  • Support logistics and management of BID and/or partner meetings (scheduling, minutes, catering, etc.);
  • Manage general accounting functions including billing, payroll, and account reconciliation;
  • Provide support for program and event logistics including evening and weekend responsibilities, as needed;
  • Perform website updates and draft weekly newsletters.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Position reports to the Crystal City BID Chief Operating Officer


  • At least two years of related work experience required
  • Minimum 4-year College degree
  • Familiarity with Arlington County and Crystal City is strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented, self-starter, and problem solver
  • Proficiency with accounting software (preferably Quickbooks) and Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required
  • Technical capability with HTML and Website Content Management Systems preferred

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, salaried; evening, night, and weekends as needed to assist in supporting BID programming and events.
COMPENSATION: Salary commensurate with experience including a competitive benefits package.
