The Air Force Association Cycling Classic
The Air Force Association Cycling Classic Challenge Ride, proudly brought to you by The Boeing Company, is back in Crystal City on Sunday June 14th! The Challenge Ride is an amateur, non-competitive, participatory ride, open to cyclists of all abilities. All participants will start and end in Crystal City. The ride will be held on a closed, 15km circuit in and around the Pentagon, Crystal City and the Air Force Memorial. Register today!

Crystal Car: A Father's Day Auto Festival
Celebrate this Father’s Day in style amongst heavy machinery and horsepower at Crystal Car: A Father's Day Auto Festival. The day will feature a variety of exciting automobile categories including innovative electric vehicles, area sports car auto clubs, classic muscle cars, and a beer garden hosted by the Washington Wine Academy. The festival takes place on Sunday, June 21 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Do you have a vehicle you want to show off? Register it today!

Blues, Brews and Barks
Set outside in the beautiful 2121 Crystal Drive courtyard, Blues, Brews and Barks is the perfect place to relax after work with man's best friend. Grab some delicious take-out from local restaurants and kick back to the tunes from some of the best local music the area has to offer. Enjoy a beverage at the Beer Garden, featuring hops hand-selected by experts at Crystal City’s Washington Wine Academy and Crystal City Wine Shop. In partnership with the Crystal City Business Improvement District (BID), Vornado/Charles E. Smith and the Washington Wine Academy, Blues, Brews and Barks will run every Wednesday in June from 5 PM to 8 PM starting on June 3rd.

Wine in the Water Park
Vintage Crystal’s “Wine in the Water Park” combines sips and sounds to create an ambient outdoor event featuring interesting wine varietals and great music in the neighborhood’s signature Crystal City Water Park. Wine selection and service is provided by Crystal City’s own Washington Wine Academy. Expert noses from WWA help guests select and enjoy the perfect wine for an after work beverage to kick-off the weekend right amidst the calming sounds of falling water mixed with live music. The event takes place every Friday in June from 6pm to 10pm, starting on June 5th.

Monday Morning Yoga
Crystal City’s FREE Monday Morning Yoga takes place every Monday morning at 7:00am. Amateur and seasoned yogis can join professional instructors from Mind Your Body Oasis and flex their way into the week with Monday Morning Meditation and Yoga in the Crystal City Water Park across from 1750 Crystal Drive. In the event of inclement weather, the class will be held inside at Mind Your Body Oasis.

Crystal City FRESHFARM Farmers Market
Spark Fresh and shop at the popular FRESHFARMS Market. Enjoy products from 20 local farmers and producers with seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh-cut flowers, container plants and herbs, farm-raised eggs, all-natural meats, artisan baked goods, specialty foods and much more. Celebrate the return of the FRESHFARMS market with a beer and wine garden serving refreshing drinks. The market is every Tuesday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at 1900 Crystal Drive. On the first Tuesday of every month, the market will have a beer/wine garden featuring products from local breweries/wineries.

Outdoor Zumba
The Courtyard at 2121 Crystal Drive starts to heat up on Wednesdays with outdoor Zumba. Join the Crystal City BID, Sport and Health fitness club, and Vornado/Charles E. Smith for free Zumba in the courtyard of 2121 Crystal Drive. Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Classes begins at 12:00p and are run through September 30th. Come out and join the party!

Sparket: A Creative Market
The eclectic and colorful shopping experience of Eastern Market returns to Crystal City with Sparket – A Creative Market. Featuring a diverse mix of arts, crafts, handmade jewelry, accessories, bath and beauty products and other local, handcrafted products as well as live-music and select food products, Sparket aims to provide a new lunchtime attraction for area workers, hotel guests, and residents. Sparket will be open every Wednesday through November 25th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 1900 Crystal Drive.

Everything Esmonde

Food Truck Thursdays
Arrive hungry and Spark Scrumptious at Food Truck Thursdays from 11 AM to 2 PM! The food trucks gather in the parking lot on Crystal Drive between 18th and 20th Streets. Actual truck schedules are subject to change so be sure to follow your favorites.

Art of Life with Maserati at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City
On Thursday, May 21 join Hyatt Regency Crystal City for Art for Life, a monthly art exhibit to benefit the National Kidney Foundation. May features two artists. Artwork by Cindy Lowther and Francine B. Livaditis, local artists from the Torpedo Factory, will be displayed in the hotel’s atrium from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Maserati of Arlington is a sponsor of the event and will have vehicles on site as well as give special giveaways. A nominal donation will allow access to the event as well as include a complimentary beverage and light fare. All proceeds will be donated to the National Kidney Foundation.

Synetic Theater: A Tale of Two Cities
What happens if you put together an aspiring drag queen and a crying baby? Discover for yourself on the stage of Synetic Theater this Spring, when Company Member Alex Mills stars in A Tale of Two Cities, directed by Serge Seiden. Originally performed Off-Broadway to rave reviews by Everett Quinton, this irreverent comedy tells the story of a drag queen named Jerry who finds the baby at his door! To calm the child down, he enacts the entirety of Charles Dickens’s A Tale of Two Cities – playing all the characters himself! The show runs from May 13th to June 21st. Tickets on sale now!

Painting Uncorked
Create a piece of art while sipping wine! No experience required. Taught by Studio Underground artist Justyne Fischer, these 2-hour classes will result in an original piece of art you can take home and enjoy. Created by YOU! "Cocktails and Clay" which is for patrons 21 years and older is an opportunity for service members and civilians alike to hang out in a stress free environment while sipping cocktails (or non-alcoholic beverages) and working with ceramics. “Cocktails and Clay” is also once/month and is available on 5/20.
