Bike to Work Week
May 11th through 15th - 7:00am to 9:00am - Friday, May 15th is National Bike to Work Day! The Crystal City BID is challenging area commuters to take the Bike to Work Week (BTWW) Challenge and ride to work every day of week. The 100 riders that show up the most number of mornings during pit stop hours, will receive a free, Crystal Ride Cycling Jersey!

The Air Force Association Cycling Classic
The Air Force Association Cycling Classic Challenge Ride, proudly brought to you by The Boeing Company, is back in Crystal City on Sunday June 14th! The Challenge Ride is an amateur, non-competitive, participatory ride, open to cyclists of all abilities. All participants will start and end in Crystal City. The ride will be held on a closed, 15km circuit in and around the Pentagon, Crystal City and the Air Force Memorial. Register today!

Monday Morning Yoga
Crystal City’s FREE Monday Morning Yoga takes place every Monday morning at 7:00am. Amateur and seasoned yogis can join professional instructors from Mind Your Body Oasis and flex their way into the week with Monday Morning Meditation and Yoga in the Crystal City Water Park across from 1750 Crystal Drive. In the event of inclement weather, the class will be held inside at Mind Your Body Oasis.

Crystal City FRESHFARM Farmers Market
Spark Fresh and shop at the popular FRESHFARMS Market. Enjoy products from 20 local farmers and producers with seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh-cut flowers, container plants and herbs, farm-raised eggs, all-natural meats, artisan baked goods, specialty foods and much more. Celebrate the return of the FRESHFARMS market with a beer and wine garden serving refreshing drinks. The market is every Tuesday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at 1900 Crystal Drive. On the first Tuesday of every month, the market will have a beer/wine garden featuring products from local breweries/wineries.

Outdoor Zumba
The Courtyard at 2121 Crystal Drive starts to heat up on Wednesdays with outdoor Zumba. Join the Crystal City BID, Sport and Health fitness club, and Vornado/Charles E. Smith for free Zumba in the courtyard of 2121 Crystal Drive. Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Classes begins at 12:00p and are run through September 30th. Come out and join the party!

Sparket: A Creative Market
The eclectic and colorful shopping experience of Eastern Market returns to Crystal City with Sparket – A Creative Market. Featuring a diverse mix of arts, crafts, handmade jewelry, accessories, bath and beauty products and other local, handcrafted products as well as live-music and select food products, Sparket aims to provide a new lunchtime attraction for area workers, hotel guests, and residents. Sparket will be open every Wednesday through November 25th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 1900 Crystal Drive.

Everything Esmonde

Food Truck Thursdays
Arrive hungry and Spark Scrumptious at Food Truck Thursdays from 11 AM to 2 PM! The food trucks gather in the parking lot on Crystal Drive between 18th and 20th Streets. Actual truck schedules are subject to change so be sure to follow your favorites.

"It's A Steal" at Gallery Underground
"It's a Steal" is a deal! With spring in the air, here’s a chance to view and choose the perfect artwork for home, office, or gift-giving. Presented annually by the Arlington Artists Alliance, forty participating artists will show in many media and formats: original paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolors, drawings, mixed media works, and ceramics. This is a great opportunity to pick up quality pieces, all priced at $95 or less—and many at much less including unframed works, prints, cards, and other small gift items. Synetic Theater: A Tale of Two Cities
What happens if you put together an aspiring drag queen and a crying baby? Discover for yourself on the stage of Synetic Theater this Spring, when Company Member Alex Mills stars in A Tale of Two Cities, directed by Serge Seiden. Originally performed Off-Broadway to rave reviews by Everett Quinton, this irreverent comedy tells the story of a drag queen named Jerry who finds the baby at his door! To calm the child down, he enacts the entirety of Charles Dickens’s A Tale of Two Cities – playing all the characters himself! The show runs from May 13th to June 21st. Tickets on sale now!

Kids Create at the 296 Project
"Kids Create" - which is held once per month (5/16) on a Saturday from 10:00 am – Noon allows children between 4 and 10 years of age to get a little messy while working with their hands to create something with a patriotic theme to either keep or potentially send to a service member overseas. Painting Uncorked
