TechShop Tuesdays
Mix and Mingle with DC's Tech Leaders and enthusiasts at the very first TechShop Tech Tuesday Happy Hour on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. The event features a tour of the TechShop facility, laser etching demo, 1 drink ticket and glass, and food. Purchase tickets here.

Diamonds & Desserts
Don’t miss the Junior League of Washington’s Diamonds & Desserts, on January 22, 2015 at 6:30 pm. Guests will sip wine and enjoy delectable desserts, and shop an exclusive estate sale, all while vying for a chance to win this year's sparkling diamond! Wednesday Night Spins
The Crystal City Business Improvement District in partnership with Vornado/Charles E. Smith and Crosshairs Cycling will host an indoor bike race every Wednesday night in the month of March. With weekly prizes for top finishers, competitors will also earn points toward being the best rider of the month. Registration is coming soon, so check crystalcity.org for updates.

1K Wine | Beer Walk
The 1K Wine | Beer Walk promises “racers” a one-of-a-kind opportunity to taste and learn about wine and beer as they make their way through the interior walkways and Crystal City Shops. Make your way through the racecourse in the Shops at Crystal City stopping at “hydration stations” along the way where you’ll find wine and beer and delicious snacks to keep you energized. 5K Fridays
Registration is now open for 5K Fridays. Every Friday in April, Crystal City hosts this popular evening race where you can hit the pavement after work and head to dinner or a local watering hole after crossing the finish line. Runners that register for the entire series will receive a complimentary Crystal Run shirt. Click here to register.

Registration is Open for the Air Force Association Cycling Classic
Registration is now open for the 2015 Air Force Association Cycling Classic Challenge Ride, proudly brought to you by The Boeing Company! The Challenge Ride is an amateur, non-competitive, participatory ride, open to cyclists of all abilities. All participants will start and end in Crystal City. The ride will be held on a closed, 15km circuit in and around the Pentagon, Crystal City and the Air Force Memorial. Click here to register and take advantage of early bird pricing.

Beauty and the Beast
Synetic Theater continues its 2014/15 season with an adaption of Beauty & The Beast through January 11th. In this gothic romance based on the original French tale, a young girl befriends the terrifying beast that holds her captive. This darkly fantastical production illuminates the Beauty’s own secrets and her Beast’s true nature, bringing wonder, magic, and seduction to a classic story. Get tickets here.

Crystal Place and Crystal Park Driveway and Street Changes
On Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 6:30 pm, Arlington County will provide an update to residents of both Crystal Place and Crystal Park about the proposed changes to the driveway across from 18th Street South and the adjacent street. An update on the Crystal City Potomac Yard Transitway Project will also be included. For more information, visit here
