Wine in the Water Park
Fridays, May 30th through June 27th - 6:00pm to 10:00pm - Crystal City Water Park - Vintage Crystal’s “Wine in the Water Park” combines sips and sounds to create an ambient outdoor event featuring interesting wine varietals and great music in the neighborhood’s signature Crystal City Water Park. Air Force Association Cycling Classic
June 8th - The Air Force Association Cycling Classic (AFACC) is the region’s premier cycling event. Professionally ranked Men’s and Women’s racers and teams vie for the Crystal City Cup on the 2 KM Criterium course in the heart of Crystal City for non-stop excitement and speed. Preceding the professional races, amateurs and cyclists of all abilities have the chance to be part of the action with the annual AFACC Challenge Ride. Tuesdays - Through November 25th - 3:00pm to 7:00pm - Celebrating its sixth year, the Crystal City FRESHFARM Market returns to its original location on Crystal Drive between 18th and 20th Streets, and offers shopping from local farmers and producers.

Outdoor Zumba
Through September 24 - Noon - 2121 Crystal Drive - Join the Crystal City BID, Sport and Health fitness club, and Vornado/Charles E. Smith for free Zumba in the courtyard of 2121 Crystal Drive. Get your lunchtime Food Truck fix at Food Truck Thursday. Actual truck schedules are subject to change so be sure to follow your favorites. The Crystal City BID has a new partnership with DC Fashion Truck Tour that brings our successful pop-up clothing shop and fashion show, the Crystal Couture Show and Sale, outside onto the sidewalk of Crystal Drive. The emerging evolution of the mobile vending industry brings fully functional stores on wheels, complete with inventory, dressing room, and friendly staff, directly to their customers’ neighborhoods.

FotoWalk Underground
Hallways of Art Underground - Enjoy the 150 spectacular photographs, including the winners of the 2013 FotoWeekDC International Awards Competition, Uncover / Discover, FotoBazaar, the Annual Youth Contest and FotoDC Favorites.

Three Men in a Boat at Synetic Theater
Through June 8th - Synetic Theater - Jerome K. Jerome’s delightful travelogue tells the story of three young men suffering from a severe case of “overwork”. Accompanied by their dutiful terrier Montmorency, they take a boating holiday through the country, getting into one satirically hilarious predicament after another along the way. Adapted from a novel consistently ranked as one of the funniest of all time, this production will be directed by a renowned area director Derek Goldman and choreographed by Synetic’s Irina Tsikurishvili. National Bike Challenge
Join the Crystal City BID in helping Arlington County lead the nation in the National Bike Challenge from May 1 to September 30. Participants and their respective communities are pitted in a friendly competition to cycle as many days and miles as possible. Monthly prizes are available through the League of American Bicyclists and other event sponsors. The Crystal City BID will also be offering a custom Banjo Brothers Backback to the team member with the highest total at the end of the season. Painting Uncorked at Gallery Underground
May 22nd, June 26th - Gallery Underground - Create a piece of art while sipping wine! No experience required. Taught by Studio Underground artist Justyne Fischer, these 2-hour classes will result in an original piece of art you can take home and enjoy.

296 Project Fundraiser
June 6th - Gallery Underground - Gallery Underground is hosting a fundraiser for The 296 Project. The fundraiser will feature the work of Kristin Beck, the very first (and still only) Transgendered US Navy SEAL who attributes her art as having kept her from suicide on a number of occasions.
