5K Fridays
April 11, 18, 25 - Registration is open for 5K Fridays. Be brave and run all four – competing each week to beat your previous time and start your weekends off with a Fit start! Also, before you head to 5K Fridays, check out Car Free Diet's tips to getting to the race.

Power Purge and Shred
April 23rd - 7:00am to 7:00pm - 1900 Crystal Drive - As part of the Green program, the Power Purge & Shred gives offices, workerss, and residents an opportunity to recycle their electronics, paint, and paper safely and securely for free.

Virginia State of Wine
April 26th - 6:00pm to 10:00pm - 251 18th Street - Join the Washington Wine Academy and the Crystal City BID for a pop up event featuring the wines of Virginia. Usually one would have to travel throughout the state to visit each of these wineries. Click here for more information and tickets.

Bike to Work Week
May 12th through 16th - 7:00am to 9:00am - Friday, May 16th is National Bike to Work Day! The Crystal City BID is challenging area commuters to take the Bike to Work Week (BTWW) Challenge and ride to work every day of week. The 50 riders that show up the most number of mornings during pit stop hours, will receive a free, Crystal Ride Messenger Bag!

Crystal Car Registration
June 15th - Do you have a prized car that you love to show off? Registration is open for Crystal Car. The Father's Day car festival is a great opportunity to show off your wheels while hanging out and connecting with fellow car enthusiasts. Click here to register.

FRESHFARM Farmers Market
Tuesdays - April 1st through November 25th - 3:00pm to 7:00pm - Celebrating its sixth year, the Crystal City FRESHFARM Market returns to its original location on Crystal Drive between 18th and 20th Streets, and offers shopping from local farmers and producers.

Food Truck Thursday
Get your lunchtime Food Truck fix at Food Truck Thursday from 11 AM to 2 PM! The food trucks gather in the parking lot on Crystal Drive between 18th and 20th Streets.

"Bodies of Work: Art in Series" at Gallery Underground
April 4th through April 28 - Gallery Underground - The exhibition features the works by the gallery’s 43 members. Each artist will display a group of works with a central theme, or series.

“Think Wednesday” launches at 8 p.m. on April 9. Created by Morou and Heather Ouattara, Kora is a casual eatery that serves trattoria style Italian fare. The bar and lounge features Morou's blend of contemporary Italian food and modern elegance. 5K Friday runners can check out the restaurant and enjoy 1/2 price pasta with their bibs.

Walk at Lunch Day

Welcome to Crystal City Year Up National Capital Region. The organization, which is a one-year, intensive training program that provides low-income young adults, ages 18-24, is moving to 1901 S. Bell Street.

Painting Uncorked at Gallery Underground
April 24th, May 22nd, June 26th - Gallery Underground - Create a piece of art while sipping wine! No experience required. Taught by Studio Underground artist Justyne Fischer, these 2-hour classes will result in an original piece of art you can take home and enjoy.
