The Crystal City Business Improvement District (BID) released today the final Crystal City to DCA Pedestrian Connection Feasibility report. The study, conducted by consultant VHB in close collaboration with area stakeholders and key agency partners, concluded that a new connection would, in fact, be feasible and outlines the most appropriate alignment, applicable regulatory requirements, and a roadmap for implementation.

Passenger traffic is up at Greater Washington's airports

It was a good year for Greater Washington’s three airports in 2017, with all seeing bumps in passenger traffic.
According to annual passenger counts that were made available this week, Reagan National Airport set a seventh consecutive record last year with 23.9 million travelers.

Construction update: Demolition of elevated Clark Street

Arlington County

This week the County’s contractor installed barriers and signage for the project’s maintenance of traffic plan. As a result, the sidewalk under Clark Street on the north side of 15th Street is now closed. The sidewalk on the south side of the street remains open.
Also, a portion of the sidewalk on the west side of South Bell Street is closed between 15th and 18th Streets.
