#DCAWalk Challenge
Though the Washington National Airport Metrorail station will remain open during Surge 3 and 4 of SafeTrack, segments of the blue and yellow lines will be closed preventing connections to the rest of the rail system. Beat the expected congestion by walking or biking to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport from Crystal City with the return of the #DCAWalk Challenge. Mobile Bike Repair

Thursdays, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
The weekly Mobile Bike Repair station will be open at Food Truck Thursdays for bike service. If you need a bike repair or simply a tune-up, show up onsite where walk-ups are welcome. You can also schedule an appointment by emailing roman@districtwrench.com.

July Shows at the Gallery Underground

During July, Gallery Underground is proud to feature “Suite Inspirations,” focusing on what it means to create art in a series. The exhibition explores what happens when an artist creates a body of work with a common thread. It could be aspects of the same theme, or simply different facets of the same image. A series exhibit allows the viewer a rare and deeper glimpse into what an artist’s work is all about.

Cinnabar 50 Weeks of 50 States
To creatively celebrate the rich food culture found throughout the U.S., Hyatt Regency Crystal City’s Cinnabar restaurant has invited guests on a culinary tour. The restaurant’s “50 States, 50 Specials” event features weekly authentic dishes that highlight fun state specialties. Each week starting on Monday, they will feature a State and have a lunch, dinner and appetizer paired with a drink special to compliment that state. Safe At Home Kickball Tournament

The eleventh annual SAFE AT HOME Kickball Tournament raises funds for Bridges to Independence, and is a place where you can meet up, have fun, and do good! The event hosted 20 teams and 300 players last year, and is hoping to make 2016 the biggest and best yet. The Crystal City Sports Pub is hosting a “Kickball Kickoff Party” from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 5th. A $5 donation to Bridges to Independence will get attendees $2 beers all evening, happy hour prices on food, and a raffle entry for some great prizes being raffled off that evening.
