Calling all cyclists and adrenaline junkies! Registration is open for Wednesday Night Spins. The race series brings indoor bike races to Crystal City every Wednesday in March. Due to popular demand, this year’s series includes a Women’s Open Race. With the unpredictable weather and a quiet local race calendar, March is the perfect time for an indoor race and provides the perfect pre-season training program.

Every Friday in April, Crystal City hosts this popular evening race where you can hit the pavement after work and head to dinner or a local watering hole after crossing the finish line. Bike to Work Week

For our 6th year, the Crystal City BID is challenging area commuters to take the Bike to Work Week (BTWW) Challenge and ride to work every day of week. Riders that show up each morning during pit stop hours, will receive snacks, coffee, and a different prize each day. The Air Force Association Cycling Classic

The Air Force Association Cycling Classic Challenge Ride, proudly brought to you by The Boeing Company, is back in Crystal City on Sunday June 12th! The Challenge Ride is an amateur, non-competitive, participatory ride, open to cyclists of all abilities. All participants will start and end in Crystal City. The ride will be held on a closed, 15km circuit in and around the Pentagon, Crystal City and the Air Force Memorial. Register today!

Arlington Tech: A Networking Event & Panel Discussion

Join, Vornado and the Crystal City BID at Highline RxR for an evening of networking and discussion about our local tech industry in Arlington. Hosted by local media personality Sarah Fraser, the event will feature an hour discussion starting at 6:30pm with leaders from Eastern Foundry, Distil Networks, Snagajob, Shift Technologies, and Bloompop. Plenty of networking time will be provided as well as a chance to chat with representatives from Arlington Economic Development with information on resources available to start-ups. Tickets are available online for $10 and include one drink ticket and lite fare.

OAR’s 8th Annual Second Chance Fundraising Breakfast

OAR will hold its 8th Annual Second Chance Fundraising Breakfast on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 7:45am to 9:00am at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Crystal City. This event is the organization’s largest annual fundraiser. 600 guests are expected this year including elected officials, dignitaries, community partners, donors, volunteers, and those interested in learning more about OAR. Guests are treated to a free, hot breakfast and a program full of guest speakers, client stories and a video about OAR’s programs. Attendees are asked to consider making a donation to OAR, with no minimum or maximum donation required. Please RSVP here.
