Calling all cyclists and adrenaline junkies! Registration is now open for Wednesday Night Spins. The race series brings indoor bike races to Crystal City every Wednesday in March. Due to popular demand, this year’s series includes a Women’s Open Race. With the unpredictable weather and a quiet local race calendar, March is the perfect time for an indoor race and provides the perfect pre-season training program.

The Air Force Association Cycling Classic

The Air Force Association Cycling Classic Challenge Ride, proudly brought to you by The Boeing Company, is back in Crystal City on Sunday June 12th! The Challenge Ride is an amateur, non-competitive, participatory ride, open to cyclists of all abilities. All participants will start and end in Crystal City. The ride will be held on a closed, 15km circuit in and around the Pentagon, Crystal City and the Air Force Memorial. Register today!

Transit Development Plan Workshop

Weigh in on how Crystal City should be served by buses. Arlington County has developed draft recommendations to improve bus service over the next 10 years. The proposal enhances or restructures 36 routes. The County is seeking your feedback is needed to shape the final recommendations. The Workshop in Crystal City will be held at the Crystal City Commuter Store located in the Crystal City Shops next to the Metro station entrance.

Rules Set for New Bus Lanes in Crystal City, Potomac Yard
In January the County Board approved an ordinance establishing rules for how new bus-only lanes in Crystal City and Potomac Yard will be used and enforced. Events at Mind Your Body Oasis

Mind Your Body Oasis has a bunch of great events coming up. On February 27th from 2:30pm to 3:30pm, they will have a Traditional Chinese Medicine Workshop. Learn how to take care of your emotional state by using TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) such as Acupuncture and Chinese herbs. February 27th will also feature a Hula Hoop Fitness class.
