and Show Your Style at Crystal Couture
Crystal City (Arlington, VA) – In just ten days, Crystal City will become the area’s go-to location for fashion and fun. In addition to runway and trunk shows, Crystal Couture, sponsored by the Crystal City Business Improvement District, offers everyone a chance to support local charities, relax with free massages, win prizes, and have a great time.
“Crystal Couture brings amazing area designers, boutiques and charities together in one, two-week event,” said Angela Fox, President/CEO of Crystal City BID. “Whether you’re a fashionista, fitness fiend, or open mic poet, we’ve got something for everyone. Drop by and enjoy free fitness classes, massages, makeovers, and tattoos as well as great daily contests with prizes.”
Every day boasts a different theme at Crystal Couture, carried out through design, activities, drinks, and food. Attendees are encouraged to dress the part and compete for prizes, including gift certificates to local boutiques, restaurants and more. To vie for a prize, guests should arrive in their themed-attire between 6pm and 8pm for evening events and 11am – 1pm for weekday events. For evening events, winners will be announced between 8:30pm -9:30pm. For day events, winners will be announced between 1:30pm - 2:30pm. The full schedule of contests is listed below:

The BID is collaborating with fashion maven Katherine Glorioso of Gossip on 23rd, Lowe Enterprises Real Estate Group, and DC Magazine to stage two style-filled weeks of sample sales, runway and trunk shows from designers, local boutiques, and area salons. All events, including the opening and closing fetes, are free, open to the public, and held in newly developed retail space at the corner of 23rd Street and Crystal Drive.
