CRYSTAL CITY, VA— Next month the Crystal City Business Improvement District (BID) in partnership with Vornado/Charles E. Smith and DC Magazine brings a fashionable favorite back to Crystal City. For the first time ever, brides can find their calling at Crystal Couture through runway and trunk shows from leading wedding wear experts. In its third year, Crystal Couture finds a new home in the former food court at the Crystal City Shops @ 1750, totally transformed into a rocking runway space with great lighting, a lounge and more than 20 fabulous fashion boutiques and designers each night from around the DC area.

Persnickety Bride will be in attendance all five nights offering a free membership, exclusive deals and fresh advice for brides-to-be in the DMV. Elizabeth St. John brings eco-conscious couture to the runway with natural fibers and hand-woven silks. Style isn’t sacrificed for sustainability in designs that partner classic and contemporary. On Friday and Saturday Occasions House of Bridal will present runway and pop-up shop featuring exclusive gowns from their Maryland-based shops.

Between browsing gowns, brides can also find inspiration for everything from bridesmaids to honeymoon wear and ensembles for all the events leading up to their big day.
