Our "1-Hour Wine School" is a great way to learn about a wine region, grape varietal, or specialty subject…in just one short hour! This is a great way to “pick and choose” and target specific topics of interest…and convenient for your busy lifestyle! You will learn from a Washington Wine Academy educator using video display presentations, and you will taste six wines (taste - not a full glass!); all in our state of the art Wine Education Center in Crystal City (Arlington), VA, located at the Bennington Luxury Apartment Building.
France enjoys an amazingly rich heritage in wine. For many, France produces the ultimate expression of certain grapes, and its beautiful wine country epitomizes what wine is all about. How can we possibly cover France in an hour? We can't, but we'll have fun trying! We will hit the top wine regions and de-mystify French wines in a fun and unpretentious way!
Come out and learn about what makes France special and taste four wines - three whites and three reds all in just about an hour. You just can't beat the price of about $20 per person. Grab a friend or come alone and help us kick off this great new wine series.

Note: These tastings are sit down style events in classroom style seating (long rows of tables) vs. rounds. Class size limited to 40 attendees. Please purchase in advance (must be 21).
