Join the Crystal City Sports Pub for its 13th Annual Sports Challenge and Charity Fundraiser. The Kick-Off Party is on February 14, and the Competition dates are February 14, 21, and 28. Finals will be on March 7.
Prizes will total over $2500 for winners!
Sports Pub Challenge History
Thirteen years ago, the Sports Pub Challenge was established with the purpose to create energy at the Pub with friendly competition and to give our customers an opportunity to have fun during the cold winter months. The owners of the Sports Pub, soon realized the need to give back to the community and created the Charity Fundraiser Challenge as a way to raise money for local charities, schools and churches. To date, this annual event has raised over $250,000. As we enter into the 13th year, our goal is still to create energy at the Pub with friendly competition while raising money and helping our community.

1. S.C.A.N. (Stop Child Abuse Now)
2. Virginia Hurricanes Basketball Scholarships
3. Calvary Foundation - supporting homeless activities and local Church activities
4. Local Schools - Oakridge, Gunston and Wakefield
5. Supporting our local community
Competition Information
• All participants must be of legal drinking age.
• Teams consist of one male and one female.
• Team entry fee is $25.00 (tax deductible).
• All participants will receive a complimentary Sports Pub Challenge gift bag including our famous Sports Pub Challenge T-shirt & other fabulous gifts.
• Teams compete in 6 Sports Challenges (see Sports Challenge Rules/Scoring) and the Charity Fundraiser Challenge (see Charity Challenge).
• Top two weekly winners in the Sports Challenge will automatically advance to the finals.
• Highest weekly bid winners in the Charity Fundraiser Challenge will automatically advance to the finals.
• Wild card (Judges Choice) winners will automatically advance to the finals.
• Teams that don’t automatically advance to the finals, may compete again the following week for a chance to make the finals.
• Contest qualifying nights are Sunday 02/14, Sunday 02/21 and Sunday 02/28.
• Finals are Sunday, March 7th.
• Check-in begins at 7:00pm.
• Challenges begins at 8:00pm.
Championship Night Prizes
1st Place - $1000.00 Cash/prizes
2nd Place - $500.00 Cash/prizes
3rd Place - $250.00 Cash/prizes
