Lace up your running shoes and start training for the 5k season with 5K Fridays. Every Friday in April at 6:30PM, participants will run a professionally timed and certified course organized by Pacers Running Stores. Every race starts and finishes at 2121 Crystal Drive. Be brave and run all five— competing each week to beat your previous time!

5K Fridays are back and Crystal City is the place to be to Get Fit, Get Healthy, and Get Green this spring! Register here.
As part of Crystal City's Green Scene, the Crystal City BID and key sponsors are providing a fun, health, and green place to hang on Friday evenings! For five consecutive Friday's starting on April 2nd, test your abilities, race against your friends or yourself, or just have fun getting Fit with "5K Fridays!" All racers will be professionally timed!
5K Fridays will utilize the IPICO timing system. Chips and bibs will be distributed on race day. If you are registered for multiple races or the entire series, you are encouraged to reuse your bib and timing tag. At the end of the series, you can recycle your tag at the finish line or at any Pacers Running Store.
Scoring & Results
Results will be posted online after 9pm the evening of the event. Cumulative results will be maintained. At this time, there are no age group or overall prizes or results. Packet Pick Up & Late Registration Online registration will shut off promptly at
2:00pm Noon on Friday. You may register in person on race day ($15/event or $50/series) from 5:30pm to 6:15pm at 2121 Crystal Drive. Bibs & timing tags will be available for pick up starting at 5:30pm at 2121 Crystal Drive.
Crystal City’s newest residential property, 220 20th Street, will host the start/finish line and provide water to racers. Runners can then shower courtesy of Sport & Health before heading over to the Concord Luxury Residences for a weekly post-race party featuring entertainment by DJ Adrian Loving.
In anticipation of the opening of their City Hub in Crystal City, Revolution Cycles will sponsor a Biathlon training ride and run each week and offer a TREK bicycle as part of a series raffle. Each time a runner finishes a race they will be entered into the raffle, which will drawn at the final race party.
For those interested in updating their fitness wardrobe, Lululemon Athletica will be the featured athletic wear provider showcasing their clothing during the race and at the post-race party.
And don’t forget to get out your best red dress! On April 23rd, 5K Friday’s will feature the Red Dress Run honoring the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest and best red dresses in both the male and female categories!

Kora will be offering 1/2 price pastas to runners pre- and post-race.
Cafe Italia will be offering 20% off meals to runners pre- and post-race.
There is no runner premium for this event. There will be a water stop on course and at the finish. The course is USATF-certified and will be the same course for each Friday event. Bags may be dropped at Revolution Cycles/City Hub at 220 20th Street (next to McCormick’s). Bags must be picked up prior to posted closing hours.
