5k Fridays
For five consecutive Friday’s, runners of all abilities are invited to Get Fit, Get Health, and Get Green at “5K Fridays” starting at 6:30 PM in Crystal City on April 3rd. Each race is $15, but runners can sign up in advance for all five for only $50. Online registration will shut off promptly at 2:00pm on Friday. You may register in person on race day ($15/event or $50/series) from 5:30pm to 6:15pm at 2121 Crystal Drive. Bibs & timing tags will be available for pick up starting at 5:30pm at 2121 Crystal Drive.

Crystal City is the place to be to Get Fit, Get Health, and Get Green this spring! As part of Crystal City's Green Scene, the Crystal City BID and key sponsors are providing a fun, health, and green place to hang on Friday evenings! For five consecutive Friday's starting on April 3rd, test your abilities, race against your friends or yourself, or just have fun getting Fit with "5K Fridays!" Runners can sign up for a single race for $15 or sign up for all five for $50 and save! All racers will be professionally timed!

Timing
5K Fridays will utilize the IPICO timing system. Chips and bibs will be distributed on race day. If you are registered for multiple races or the entire series, you are encouraged to reuse your bib and timing tag. At the end of the series, you can recycle your tag at the finish line or at any Pacers Running Store.
Scoring & Results
Results will be posted online after 9pm the evening of the event. Cumulative results will be maintained. At this time, there are no age group or overall prizes or results.
Packet Pick Up & Late Registration

Post Event Specials The sponsors for "5k Fridays" have made it easy to run the race, get cleaned up and then grab a bite to eat, a drink, and have some fun! Vornado/Charles E. Smith will be donating use of the start and finish as well as portions of the 5k route. In anticipation of the opening of the newest luxury apartment building in Crystal City, 220 20th Street, developer and owner Vornado/Charles E. Smith will be providing free water bottles to all racers.
After the race, get freshened up at the shower facilities courtesy of Crystal Park Sport + Health, located conveniently adjacent to the finish line! After cleaning up, head over to Noodles & Company for buy one get one free pasta dishes to replensh those expended carbohydrates! Show your racing bib to receive the special! Hop on over to Tortoise & Hare Bar and Grille located on 23rd Street's Restaurant Row for the post-race party featuring free live music and specials for 5K Friday's participants!
Other Information
There is no runner premium for this event. There will be an unmanned baggage drop near the registration area. Leave items at your own risk. There will be a water stop on course and at the finish. The course is USATF-certified (pending) and will be the same course for each Friday event.
